Emergency Broadcast System
Registration

After months of research and discussion, the Technology Committee of Aquin Catholic Schools has chosen an Emergency Broadcast System. We will now be able to notify all households by phone or email within minutes of an emergency or unplanned event that will affect the school schedule in the next 24 hours. Examples of what this system will be used for are weather closings, crisis situations, early dismissals and lockdowns.

When used, the service will simultaneously contact all registered cell phone numbers and email addresses and deliver a text message. We will continue to use our present notification systems--email, website, television, radio--when appropriate.
This system requires registration by anyone who wishes to be contacted in this manner. To register, participants must access the site by clicking here:

After accessing the above link, you will be taken to a registration page. You will need to click on the ‘Register Now’ button. There, you will enter your email address and create a password. Schooldispatch will then send a confirmation email with a link to complete your registration.

To aid you in the registration process, the above link is a .pdf file of screenshots of each page you will visit when registering. A yellow box has been placed on each page with directions for each registration page. Basically, you will need to click on EDIT and ADD to register each of your emails and/or cell phone numbers.
